CMacTeX is an integrated suite of programs for implementing TeX on
Macintosh OS X and Classic OS. It can be configured
to work in an integrated fashion with the popular Macintosh
editors BBEdit, TextWrangler, and Alpha. It is compatible with the version of TeX
found on most Unix systems and is based on the 2008 TeXLive distribution.
OS X version of CMacTeX 4.5
TeX
(cmactex45.dmg.zip, 40 MB) This archive contains everything
included with CMacTeX except MacGhostView.
The universal binaries run natively on either PPC or Intel
Macs with OS X 10.2 - 10.14.
Classic version of CMacTeX 4.5
Classic TeX
(cmactex45.sit.bin, 40 MB) This archive contains everything
included with CMacTeX except MacGhostView. The binaries in this
download are classic fat binaries and run under OS 7.0.1 through 9.2 on either 68K or
PowerPC Macs. This version also runs under emulation
with SheepShaver or Basilisk II.

To complete the installation of CMacTeX, go to the
MacGhostview web page and download
MacGhostView 5.2.4. Users of the classic version of CMacTeX should download MacGhostView 3.2.
