MacDviX is a true dvi previewer for OS X which does not use X11 and integrates easily with TeXLive. MacDviX uses the TeXLive texmf tree to load tfm and vf files and uses the TeXLive program mktexpk to generate missing pk fonts. It will automatically update the preview of an opened dvi file if that file is changed by another program. With MacDviX the user can easily switch between tex source files and a dvi file when debugging tex sources.
MacDviX is a Universal Binary and runs on any OS X from 10.2 (Jaguar) to 10.14 (Mojave).
